The Waterfall

The first part of this series focuses on the initial field session for Richard’s painting, “Buttermilk Falls”, recently exhibited in New York at the Salmagundi Club’s American Master’s show. Contained in this lesson are over 30 sequential images showing the developmental field stages of this painting. You will discover how the painting was started, and witness the foundational layers that lead the way to the complete piece. In addition, Richard offers helpful tips for working in the field.
